• I've been listening to random NES game soundtracks.  So far my favorites are Castlevania, Blaster Master, Mega Man 2, Contra, Metal Gear and a little TMNT.  They are all actually ripped from the NES roms into the Nintendo music format (.nsf) and I play them through a NES music plug-in for Winamp.  Exciting eh? 

  For some reason I just love the sound of this old school music.  It's so simple, but some of the music can be really memorable.  I suppose the only games these days that could have memorable music would be RPGs, so Final Fantasy and stuff like that. 

  I need new video game music to listen to...
